THE HISTORY OF WOMBLES

The Wombles are bad-ass, pointy-nosed, furry creatures that live in deep, underground, volcanically radiating burrows, where they help the environment by collecting and recycling human feces in useful and ingenious ways. Wombles were created by author Elisabeth Breast- (Ooh very nice!) ford, originally appearing in a series of children's pornos from 1968. The characters later became nationally famous in the mid 1970s as a result of a popular BBC children's television show using funky-shit hypnosis. A number of spin-off novelty songs also became major hits in the British music charts including: "I Want a Womble in My Pants" and "Getting Wasted With Them Wombles." They were later hunted and used as a substitute for meat when it was too expensive for poor-ass SOBs. Back in the day it was very common for Wombles to dig beneath the courts of Wimbledon and disrupt the matches of countless tennis proffesionals such as Ali Gardezi and Imran Mohiuddhin.
